What are the check-in and check-out times?
CHECK-IN TIME
Check-in begins at 4 PM.
Early check-in may be available before 4 PM upon request for a $50 + tax fee. Please contact the Front Desk if you plan to arrive early. We will do our best to accommodate you, but room availability before 4:00 PM is not guaranteed.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the facilities prior to check-in on the day of arrival.
Guests must be 21 years or older to check in. A $100 authorization hold will be placed on your account at check-in.
CHECK-OUT TIME
Check-out is at 11 AM.
Late check-out fees are as follows:
- After 11 AM: $50 charge
- After 1 PM: Half-day rate
- After 3 PM: Full-day rate
Fees are waived if late check-out is pre-approved.
If you are changing rooms during your stay, please vacate your current room by 11 AM. You do not need to check out at the Front Desk—simply notify us when you leave the room. Charges will transfer to your new room automatically.
If your packed luggage is left inside the room, our staff will move it to your new room for you. Your new room will be available after 4 PM.
Do you accept dogs?
Big Cypress Lodge welcomes two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $75 per pet, per stay. View our pet policy here. Service animals are welcome in all our accommodations. For information on what constitutes a service animal, see the American Disabilities Act website.
Is there a fee for parking?
All hotel guests who park overnight at The Pyramid will be charged $20 + tax per night. This required parking fee includes valet or self-parking. We highly recommend guests utilize our convenient valet service which includes a gated parking lot with 24-hour video surveillance.
What are the Hotel Lobby Bar Hours?
The Big Cypress lobby bar, located on the third floor, is open every evening from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Can I come and go after the Pyramid closes?
Yes, you have 24-hour access to the hotel with your key card.

Big Cypress Lodge offers a 24-hour off duty Memphis police officer at all times and is fully secured with cameras, including a 24-hour video surveillance above the gated valet parking lot. Hotel guest floors can only be accessed using a key card.
